Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is seeking an HSSU Coordinator to join the Hospital Sterile Services Unit on a bank, part-time basis. You will assist in processing used surgical instruments for dispatch, receive sterile equipment, and support the theatre team to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires basic computer literacy and strong organisation skills, with duties including handling trays of various weights, maintaining records, disposing of contaminated waste, and checking equipment

• Basic computer literacy and strong organisation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Move and handle trays and items of various weights and sizes.
• Maintain accurate records and keep documentation up to date.
• Dispose of contaminated waste in accordance with hospital policy.
• Regularly check that equipment is in good working order and report faults.
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
• Take action to rectify problems and escalate issues where necessary.
