Job summary

Admiralty Care Home is hiring a part-time Housekeeper to help maintain a welcoming environment for residents. You will keep communal areas clean and safe, and provide attentive room care to residents' rooms, ensuring high standards and safety signage is used where appropriate.

The role focuses on delivering kindness through everyday tasks, collaborating with the management team to uphold hygiene standards, and making residents feel cared for through small, warm interactions.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
• This is a part time position at 20 hours per week to include alternative weekends.
• Experience within a similar role.
• A positive attitude and pride in your work.

Responsibilities

• Creating a welcoming environment – keeping all communal areas clean, tidy, and safe for residents, visitors and colleagues.
• Room care with pride – dusting, polishing and vacuuming residents’ rooms to a high standard, always using appropriate safety signage.
• Working together – collaborating with the management team to maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Making a difference through kindness – sharing a smile, a conversation, or a moment of connection with residents as you go about your day.
