Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Bank Housekeeper at Gorseway care home on Hayling Island. The role focuses on creating a clean, welcoming environment in communal areas and resident rooms, with an emphasis on safety and high standards of hygiene.

You will work on a flexible, zero-hour basis, providing housekeeping support as needed while upholding compassion and resident wellbeing. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to a close-knit care team within a growing family-owned provider.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and pride in your work.
• Right to work in the UK (minimum 12 months).
• Bank Housekeeper on a zero hour contract, ready to work as required.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents' rooms with pride through dusting, polishing and vacuuming.

What you'll enjoy as part of the team

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 12 months' right to work in the UK
• A positive attitude and pride in your work
• A bank Housekeeper to work as and when required - this is a zero hour contract

• Creating a welcoming environment – keeping all communal areas clean, tidy, and safe for residents, visitors and colleagues
• Room care with pride – dusting, polishing and vacuuming residents' rooms to a high standard, always using appropriate safety signage
• Working together – collaborating with the management team to maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Making a difference through kindness – sharing a smile, a conversation, or a moment of connection with residents as you go about your day
