Job description

Warminster Community Hospital - Longleat Ward is seeking Bank Health Care Assistants.

You will join a welcoming team at Warminster in Wiltshire.

Main duties of the job
  • Implement treatment following care plans.
  • Keep the patient at the centre of care, involving them and their carers in decision-making.
  • Support the daily care of delegated patients.
  • Deliver treatment and care within an inpatient setting as specified in written care plans, under the guidance of a registered practitioner.
  • Support and monitor the day-to-day care of patients.
  • Maintain good infection control practices to reduce healthcare-associated infections.
  • Assist patients in reaching their maximum level of independence.
  • Communicate effectively about routine activities, overcoming difficulties such as hearing or language barriers.
  • Document the needs and wishes of patients.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Undertake delegated tasks as assigned.
