Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a Bank Catering Assistant for Noble House in Worcester. You will help prepare and serve nutritious meals in a calm, well‑structured kitchen, supporting residents in a retirement community. The role offers flexible hours as required and the potential to progress through funded hospitality qualifications.

You'll join a compassionate team focused on high standards of service and safety, with safeguarding checks and right‑to‑work requirements in place.

Qualifications

• Experience with general cleaning duties is desirable.
• Level 2 Diploma in housekeeping or catering, or willingness to work towards.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
• Right to work in the UK is required; safeguarding checks may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare meals and drinks following hygiene standards.
• Support customers and colleagues to deliver a high standard of service.
• Keep kitchens, communal areas and flats clean and tidy.
• Report faults or hazards to maintain a safe environment.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure equipment is used safely.

We're excited to welcome a Catering Assistant to support the preparation and serving of nutritious, well-presented meals at our Noble House, Oak View Way Retirement Community in Worcester WR2 5FH, without the long hours or split shifts often found in hospitality. Working as part of a friendly kitchen team, you'll help create a positive dining experience for residents within a calm, well-organised environment. • Help prepare meals and drinks while following food hygiene standards
