Qualifications

  • Completion of a Masters degree in Pharmacy.

What are we looking for

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit Bank Clinical Pharmacists to join our Pharmacy Team. Reporting to the Clinical Pharmacy Services Manager and working closely with the Pharmacy Operations Manager the Bank Clinical Pharmacist will provide an exemplary pharmacy service in accordance with current legislation accepted professional and ethical standards and clinical requirements. The post-holder will focus on delivering high quality clinical pharmacy services at the outpatient and inpatient settings. You will work alongside the Informatics Clinical Pharmacist on Electronic Patient Record (EPR) related matters and other clinical stakeholders on delivering day to day clinical pharmacy services as per the medicines optimisation strategy.

This is a Bank role with the following shift patterns :
  • Monday to Sunday (08 : 00-20 : 00 / 20 : 00-08 : 00)

What will your duties include
  • Supports the development validation and maintenance of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and EPR / Pharmacy automation related medication databases and dictionaries.
  • Provides day-to-day clinical pharmacy services for defined clinical areas.
  • Assures safe and secure medicines management practice in clinical areas.
  • Supports Pharmacy and other multidisciplinary staff to meet their medicines-related educational and development needs.
  • Participates and supports medicines management related innovation.
What we need from you
  • Completion of a Masters degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Demonstrable evidence of competence in general clinical practice including medicine and surgery
  • Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient requirements
  • Experience of working in a hospital and of project related work in this environment
