Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Catering Team Member on a part-time basis for 34 hours per week in Cafe @ the Royal, inside Chesterfield Royal Hospital. Shifts are on a 4-week rota, Monday to Sunday, 6am–8pm, with a busy, high-volume service.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, team collaboration, and adherence to food safety standards, with DBS disclosure required and a 5-day rota pattern.

Qualifications

• Level 2 food hygiene certificate or willingness to undertake.
• GCSE level in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of Food safety.
• Experience with Food Allergies, special diets and labelling.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors and staff.
• Assist Chefs with food preparation and stock rotation in restaurant areas.
• Work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Maintain composure and work under pressure during busy periods.
• Ensure full compliance with all Food Safety requirements.
