Job summary

Sandstone Care Group is hiring a Bank Catering Assistant for Fleetwood Hall Care Home. The role offers flexible bank hours and shifts between 8am and 6:30pm, with an hourly rate of £12.76. You will support the catering team and help deliver a enjoyable dining experience for residents.

This flexible role suits someone who enjoys variety and can pick up shifts as required. Training and development opportunities are provided within a supportive team environment.

• Previous catering, kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
• Reliable, flexible and happy to work across different shifts as required.
• Positive, hardworking and eager to learn.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.

• Supporting basic cooking and food preparation under the supervision of the Chef.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas.
• Supporting stock rotation, deliveries and the safe storage of food supplies.
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Completing any required training to support your development.

• Shifts: Vary between the hours of8am-6:30pm
