Job summary

Westleigh Lodge Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Bank Care Assistant in Leigh to deliver compassionate, person-centred care. You will support residents with daily living, follow care plans and contribute to a warm, respectful environment.

Full training, guidance and ongoing development are provided. Prior experience helps but is not essential, with SVQ/NVQ Level 2 desirable. DBS paid, uniform supplied, and employee benefits included.

About Westleigh Lodge Care Home

Westleigh Lodge is a 48 bedded care home in Leigh, specialising in nursing dementia care. Our dedicated team provides compassionate, person centred care, supporting residents to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life in a warm and welcoming environment.

Bank Care Assistant Contract

• £13.45- £13.95 per hour
• Bank Contract
• Paid [PVG/DBS] pension, uniform provided

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
