Assistant Technical Officer (ATO), Band 2 – Inpatient and Community Pharmacy Services
We are looking for a flexible, conscientious, reliable, and motivated Assistant Technical Officer (ATO) with a positive attitude to join our pharmacy team.
To undertake stock ordering medication duties in support of the ward-based clinical pharmacy service to all inpatient units, home treatment teams, and off-site community teams across NELFT. This includes putting stock away within our bedded wards and unit drug area(s) in line with Omnicell, security and safe storage and cold chain maintenance of vaccines and refrigerated medicines.
Also, support the Medicines Management Pharmacy Technicians and Senior/ATO’s in minimising pharmaceutical waste by providing a waste service to all designated wards and community teams.
Applicants should have received a good standard of general education and have attained a GCSE’s grade A to C or 4-9 in Mathematics and English (or equivalent). Computer literacy is required although appropriate training will be given.
