Join a leading mental health trust as a Practitioner Psychologist in a transformative role within the Mental Health Integrated Network Team. You'll deliver critical psychological support, lead clinical initiatives, and have opportunities for professional development in various therapeutic specialisms. Embrace a commitment to equitable care and make a significant impact on community mental health.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Practitioner Psychologist (clinical/counselling/forensic) to the new Mental Health Integrated Network Team (MINT) in South Glos. As part of the Community Mental Health Framework, we are delivering an exciting transformation programme to support people with mental health needs to get the help they need efficiently, and close to home. The team aims to meet the needs of service users that fall through the gap between primary and secondary care services.
You will provide psychological formulations, consultation, supervision, and training to multidisciplinary professionals both within the team and to partner agencies. There will be opportunities for the delivery of medium-term therapy within MINT, as well as possibilities to provide long-term therapy within the local South Glos PTS service.
The MINT service uses critical community psychology principles as a framework to meet service users' needs. Applicants with an interest in applying critical community/liberation psychology models are encouraged to apply. As a service, we are committed to addressing issues of structural inequalities and oppression that often create barriers in the provision of equitable care for the service user groups in the locality.
You will be well supported with a range of opportunities for continued professional development, including accreditation in CBT, DBT, EMDR, Systemic Family Therapy, or other relevant specialisms. We support flexible working.
