Job Description
The work of the Women’s Estate Psychology Service (WEPS) spans core forensic work: completion of complex risk assessments along with therapeutic intervention work, consultancy, training & research, as well as a broad range of safety-related work within women’s prisons, and as women transition back into the community.
The post holder will have the opportunity to engage in core forensic work and the delivery of safety work as this is a key aspect of the role at any women’s prison. This will include the collaborative development of strengths-based plans based on psychological formulations which are designed to be a multiagency way of supporting staff to support women in custody and through into the community more effectively.

Licences
Qualified and registered clinician with the HCPC
Qualifications
Qualified forensic or clinical psychologists with the HCPC or in the process of receiving HCPC registration. Where HCPC registration is not yet in place, confirmation of registration must be provided within 6 months of provisional offer
