What you will do:

1. Provide highly specialised speech and language therapy services within a community rehabilitation setting for patients with a new stroke diagnosis.

3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supporting clients with swallowing and communication challenges.
4. Offer feedback, advice, and training to family members, caregivers, and team members regarding communication and swallowing strategies.
5. Apply specialised clinical skills for interpretive assessments, including videofluoroscopic and FEES examinations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Must be a car driver to enable community visits.
• Significant NHS experience in a community setting focusing on stroke rehabilitation.
