Evolve Staffing Ltd is seeking a Band 6 Neonatal Nurse (QIS) to join major NHS neonatal units across Cheshire. The role requires NMC registration, QIS neonatal qualification, and post-registration NHS experience in Level 2/3 units. You will work across NICU, HDU, and SCBU with MDT colleagues, delivering advanced neonatal care.

Qualifications

• NMC PIN active with no restrictions.
• Post-registration QIS Neonatal Nursing qualification required.
• 12–18 months post-qualification NHS Level 2/3 neonatal experience preferred.
• Proficient in electronic patient records (EHR/BadgerNet).
• NLS or ARNI neonatal life support certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced, evidence-based neonatal nursing care across NICU/HDU/SCBU.
• Formulate and execute complex neonatal care plans for premature/ill neonates.
• Administer complex medications, TPN infusions, IV therapies per NMC guidelines.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, surgeons, and ANNPs as MDT.
• Manage invasive ventilation, CPAP, HFNC, and oxygen therapy.
• Deliver family-centered care and support developmental care.
• Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship to junior staff.
• Lead and assist in neonatal resuscitation and emergency transport prep.
