Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse with Critical Care qualification to progress to Band 6, working across Heartlands and Good Hope units. You will join a skilled team delivering high-quality care to over 10,000 babies in our Neonatal Network.

The post holder will lead shifts, manage patient flow, liaise with families, and collaborate with the MDT to uphold clinical standards and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration (Child/Adult/Midwife).
• Specialist Neonatal Critical Care/Intensive Care qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as role model for junior team members in delivering high standards of nursing practice.
• Deputise for the Senior Sister and support leadership and management of the department.
