Job summary
NHS Dumfries and Galloway Supplementary Staffing service provides skilled registered nursing staff on a temporary basis to support increased staffing across all inpatient areas. We are seeking an enthusiastic Neonatal Bank Nurse (Band 6) to work with our Neonatal unit, delivering high quality care and joining a multidisciplinary team.
Shifts are flexible across day, evening, night and weekends on an as-and-when basis, with online/telephone booking.
Qualifications
- Registered nurse with valid live NMC PIN.
- Experience in neonatal/paediatric settings is preferred.
- QIS qualification is essential for this Neonatal bank role.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high quality neonatal nursing care.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams of nurses, doctors and HCAs.
- Flexible booking for shifts across day, evening, night and weekends.
- Support the unit to meet staffing standards and family needs.
