Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Reading is recruiting a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Advisor based at Bath Road. You will be an experienced registered nurse with a passion for improving patient care, delivering high quality clinical triage and guiding referrals to the appropriate services.

In this role you will support the Community Nursing Triage Telephone Service, use professional judgement, prioritise tasks, and be confident with visiting patients at home for catheter and end-of-life

Qualifications

Must be a registered nurse with current NMC registration.
Experience in community nursing or triage services preferred.
Excellent communication, critical thinking and professional judgement.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical support and expertise to all callers of the Community Nursing Triage Telephone Service.
Collaborate with admin staff to deliver high-quality clinical triage using professional judgement.
Prioritise calls and manage workload during periods of high demand.
Visit patients at home for urgent visits, including catheter care and end-of-life care.
