The NHS is seeking a Band 5 nurse for a 12-month fixed-term contract at the Glenfield Hospital. The role involves providing patient-centered care in a 15-bedded eating disorder unit, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality nursing standards. Welford (ED) Ward is a 15-bedded eating disorder unit that cares for individuals with severe anorexia nervosa from across the East Midlands.
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and conscientious Band 5 nurse to cover maternity leave for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our well-established team, providing support and care to our patient group.
You will collaborate closely with other Band 5 and Band 6 nurses, Health Care Support Workers, Consultants, Medics, Dietitians, Speech and Language Therapists, Ward Managers, and Team Managers to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
The role is based at the Glenfield Hospital site in the Bennion Centre. We operate a 24/7 shift system, primarily covering night shifts with four day shifts per month.
