Job Overview
Welford (ED) Ward is a 15-bed eating disorder unit caring for individuals with severe anorexia nervosa from across the East Midlands.
We seek a highly motivated, experienced, and conscientious Band 5 nurse to join our well-established team. The nurse will support and care for our patient group and work closely with other healthcare professionals including Band 5 and Band 6 Nurses, Healthcare Support Workers, Consultants, Medics, Dietitians, Speech and Language Therapists, Ward Managers, and Team Managers to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care. The role is based at the Glenfield Hospital site in the Bennion Centre.
Our operation runs on a 2-shift system covering 24/7. Applicants should be able to work on a rotating pattern, but we are open to discussing flexible shift arrangements upon request.
