Band 5 Registered Nurse – Whipps Cross Hospital – Barts Health NHS Trust

Pulse Nursing are currently seeking Band 5 Registered Nurses to join our growing team to work for Barts Health NHS Trust. Barts Health NHS Trust currently have a high volume of shifts available and as a Pulse healthcare professional, you get the first choice of the best shifts!

This current opportunity will give you the flexibility to book in advance so you can plan ahead and in turn, be in control of your schedule. With Barts being one of Pulse Nursing’s priority clients, we can offer a great deal of shifts within this trust.

We are offering a variety of shift patterns, including the option of full-time equivalent hours, in Barts Health Trust paying between £18.80 – £29.83 per hour.

As a Band 5 Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high standards of care to patients across various medical and surgical wards. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, using your clinical skills and compassion to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that care plans are tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in line with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Monitor patients’ conditions, perform clinical observations, and respond to any changes appropriately.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the wider healthcare team to ensure coordinated and compassionate care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and ongoing professional development.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive environment that enhances patient recovery and wellbeing.

Registered Nurse Role Requirements:

  • NMC Registration 6 months
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, Occupational Health, Clinical References and Updated CV
  • Right to work within the UK – Proof will be required.
