Job summary

Pulse Nursing is seeking compassionate Paediatric Nurses to join our team in a supportive clinical environment within the Surrey & Sussex NHS Trust. The role offers full-time, part-time and flexible shifts with competitive hourly pay.

You will deliver high-quality care to infants and children, collaborate with MDTs, and maintain meticulous records while prioritising safeguarding and patient well-being.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin.
• Paediatric nursing qualification (RN Child).
• Experience in paediatric setting.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and child-focused care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to infants, children and young people.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care per patient needs.
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per Trust policies.

Job Title: Paediatric Nurse

Pay Rates: £18.45 - £35 per hour

Pulse Nursing is seeking compassionate and experienced Paediatric Nurses to join our team and work within a prestigious Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated nurses who are passionate about delivering outstanding care to children and young people in a supportive clinical environment.

Pay rates range from £18.45 to £30 per hour on PAYE (Days £18.45, Nights/Saturdays £24.50, Sundays/Bank Holidays £30) and £21 to £35 per hour under Umbrella (Days £21, Nights/Saturdays £28, Sundays/Bank Holidays £35)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to infants, children, and young people.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in line with individual patient needs.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with Trust policies.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, therapists, and support staff.
• Communicate effectively with children and their families, offering reassurance, education, and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Adhere to all safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control policies.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin.
