Job summary

The role involves assisting in day-to-day clinical operations, supervising junior staff, and working with a multidisciplinary team across in-patient services. Shifts include weekends, nights, and bank holidays, with opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMC Band 5.
• Experience in learning disabilities or mental health nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day running of the clinical area and provide supervision to junior staff.
• Offer support, advice and supervision to MDT members.
• Support the 8-bed unit at Small Heath to maintain safe staffing.
• Contribute to training and development opportunities for staff.
