Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 3 Complex Care Assistant to support pupils with enteral feeding needs during school hours in Birmingham. The role is part-time, term-time only, 30 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid break.

The post offers pro rata pay (£25,760–£27,476 per year) and requires caring skills, safeguarding awareness, and ability to work within a multi-agency team. Training and DBS checks will be provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2+ in Care with experience working with children with complex needs.
• Experience dealing with the public and with children and young people.
• Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide enteral feeding support for children during school day.
• Assist with growth measurements and health monitoring.
• Work as part of a multi-agency team under the Team Leader.
• Undertake administrative duties to enable service delivery.
