Job summary

Bayne’s the Family Bakers seeks a Bakery Training Specialist to design onboarding and role-specific training across our Bakery departments, embedding a consistent learning approach. You will work with Managers and SMEs to deliver practical training and develop materials, assessments and digital content.

The role focuses on coordinating onboarding, compliance and refresher training, with opportunities to grow the L&D function and influence learning culture within the Bakery operation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, FMCG or similar operational environment.
• Experience supporting, coordinating, or delivering workplace training and development.
• Ability to translate operational processes into clear, practical learning materials.
• Experience with SOPs and adherence to standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement onboarding and role-specific training across Bakery departments.
• Create learning pathways with practical training, knowledge checks, observations and competency sign-off.
• Coordinate onboarding, compliance and refresher training.
• Develop engaging training materials, guides and digital content aligned with standards.
• Provide guidance and resources to managers to enable effective workplace training.
• Monitor training activity and maintain accurate training records.
