Hovis Bakeries in Newcastle-under-Lyme is seeking Bakery Operatives to join our fast-paced production team. You will contribute to safe, hygienic manufacturing while supporting daily line operations and quality control.

The role covers 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, with competitive pay and training to progress within a large food manufacturing business in the UK.

Qualifications

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills, including record keeping and following instructions
• Good awareness of Health, Safety and Food Safety
• A positive can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn
• Advantageous: Understanding of food hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practice
• Understanding of baking process
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate IOSH or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Engage in the Safety First culture and compliance with AB internal policies and procedures
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and housekeeping

Join Our Team: We are seeking Bakery Operatives to join our production team.

We are looking for motivated and hardworking Bakery Operatives to join our fast-paced production team in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. If you enjoy hands-on work and want to build a career in food manufacturing, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Location: Hovis Bakeries, Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Salary: Starting at £28,791.60 increasing to £32,172.07 after successful completion of training.
Shifts: Average of 42 hours per week.

This role operates 12-hour rotating shifts, on a varied shift pattern, including night work and weekends.

Key Accountabilities
