Barker Ross Group is seeking a dynamic Bakery Manager to own and lead a growing bakery operation in the United Kingdom. The role combines hands-on production floor leadership with strong people management to raise standards, drive improvements and deliver business results.

You will lead from the front, plan labour and resources, and ensure food safety and quality are maintained while building a high-performing team.

Qualificações

• Experience in food manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record leading production teams.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Experience working to production plans, KPIs and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of the safe, efficient, day-to-day bakery operations.
• Lead, motivate, coach and develop the bakery team to high standards.
• Plan labour, rotas and resources to hit production targets on time.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety.
• Monitor KPIs such as output, efficiency, downtime and waste.
• Identify issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Technical/Quality teams to optimise processes.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and standard ways of working.
• Recruit and train operators as the team grows.
• Drive problems through to resolution.
