Job summary

The Bread Factory in London is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep bakery equipment running at peak performance. You will diagnose faults, carry out preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns across a fast-paced production environment.

The successful candidate will hold engineering NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), BS7671:18th Edition, and ideally an HNC Level 4. CMMS experience, bakery machinery know-how, and HAACP awareness are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Engineering NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• Qualified to Electrical Installations BS7671:2008 (2382-15) 18th Edition and upgrade as new Editions.
• HNC (Level 4) in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with CMMS to record planned maintenance and reactive tasks.
• Experience with bakery machinery.
• HAACP awareness.
• Troubleshooting on electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the equipment and plant are maintained.
• React to breakdowns quickly and efficiently.
• PLC fault finding to input and output level.
• Remedy issues highlighted by our in-house HAACP audits.
• Respond to out-of-hours calls for breakdowns.
