Job summary

ABP UK is expanding its ABP Penston site in Glasgow and currently recruiting for a production role responsible for managing retail production to meet customer orders, defined specs, timescales and targets.

You will focus on delivering quality, cost efficiency and strong health and safety compliance while developing your team and liaising with customers and the group on production matters. Full-time, on-site role with opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to meet production targets while maintaining quality.
• Strong adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
• Ability to drive cost efficiency and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Meet stringent production targets and maintain the integrity of the production process.
• Minimise unit costs, maximise throughput and improve OEE.
• Uphold high quality and hygiene standards across the site.
• Develop team performance related to output, efficiency and quality.
• Drive OpEx through the department and assist the site as required.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with internal teams and customers.
• Maintain housekeeping and the state of machinery within the factory.
• Ensure throughput targets are met and participate in required meetings.
• Comply with health and safety rules and ensure staff understand requirements.
• Participate in training and monitor staff training needs.
• Carry out additional duties as reasonably requested by the manager.
