Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Operator for backshift in Coventry. The role involves loading/unloading vehicles, scanning stock with handheld devices, and ensuring dispatch accuracy.

You will support a range of Volvo Group brands and participate in site transitions during relocation from Rugby to Coventry in June 2027. Candidates should hold a valid counterbalance licence, have forklift experience, and be fluent in English with a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in loading and unloading operations in a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence or certification (RTITB/ITSSAR/AITT/NPORS or equivalent).
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload vehicles using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck from rear and side-loading points.
• Scan and record stock movements using handheld devices and WMS; report discrepancies to Shift Leader.
• Support safe, on-time dispatch and stock accuracy; assist across multiple Volvo Group brands.
