Job summary

Queens View Harbour Care Home in Troon is seeking a Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care for residents. You will support daily living tasks, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, while following care plans and promoting dignity and independence.

Full training, guidance and ongoing development are provided. We welcome both experienced carers and newcomers to care, with supportive teamwork and a warm environment.

Job description

Renowned as the most luxurious care facility in Troon, Queens View Harbour Care Home proudly offers exceptional Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 56 residents. With an outstanding carehome.co.uk rating of 9.8 and Care Inspectorate grades of 5, 4, 5, 5, and 4, the home is committed to delivering the highest standards of care and comfort.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to Part time hours per weekworking 4pm - 9pm
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
