Job summary

Queens View Harbour Care Home in Troon is seeking a caring Care Assistant to support residents with daily living and personal care. You will follow care plans to promote dignity and wellbeing, while contributing to a safe and respectful environment.

This role welcomes both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training and ongoing development provided to support your journey within a supportive team.

Contract: Full Time and Part- Time
Salary: £13.60 Per Hour
Shift type: Nights
Contracted hours: various hours available

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to Full time or Part time hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
