Job summary

Ksubaka, based in London, is seeking a software engineer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will write well designed Java code, apply TDD/BDD, and work with Hibernate, SQL and NoSQL databases to support our in-store gamified advertising platform.

The candidate should have a BSc in CS/Engineering (MSc preferred), strong communication, and the ability to collaborate across international teams. Salary ranges from £43,000 to £83,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Requires a BSc in Computer Science or Engineering; MSc preferred.
• Proven software engineering experience with Java.
• TDD/BDD experience and ability to document designs.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience in software engineering
• At least a BSc degree in Computer Science or Engineering; MSc preferred
• Experience with test-driven development and behavioral-driven development
• Ability to develop in Java
• Experience with functional programming languages
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate); prior experience with NoSQL solutions
