Job summary

Rightmove is seeking a software engineer to join our Native Apps engineering group in the UK. You will develop scalable Java services powering our iOS and Android experiences, collaborate with product, design and data teams, and drive improvements with modern engineering practices.

You’ll contribute to microservices alongside Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Docker, while advocating automated testing and production-readiness.

Salary: £52,000 - 71,000 per year

Requirements:

  • Contribute to technical discussions and help prioritise features during sprints
  • Review code, share feedback, and support others through collaboration and mentoring

  • Explore new technologies and propose ways to enhance our systems and workflows
  • Partner with product, data, and design to ensure we are delivering meaningful outcomes for users
