Job summary

Skyports Limited in London is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer (Backend and Integrations) for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will build backend services for charging orchestration and drive the integration with a partner eVTOL charging company, collaborating with a frontend developer.

Qualifications

• Backend, production-grade services built in Go.
• Azure cloud engineering including IAM, networking, storage and managed services.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform; containerized deployments (Docker/Azure Container Apps); CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build the backend services and APIs behind the charging orchestration software.
• Own the integration with a partner eVTOL charging company’s systems.
• Develop real-time event-driven services handling live charging data with monitoring and retries.
• Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and contribute to platform observability.
