Job summary

SevenRooms in London is seeking a backend-focused Software Engineer to build high-performance services for restaurants and guests, spanning from booking to recognition. You will collaborate with engineers, PMs and designers across DashOS locations to shape how its products connect.

You will work in a hybrid London office and contribute to a globally scaled platform with AI tooling and frequent daily releases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in Python and comfortable picking up new languages as platform evolves.
• Experience building and operating backend services in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy and improve backend services used by restaurants and guests.
• Own features end to end from design to production and on-call rotation for reliability.
• Work on hard problems in data, latency and scale across global platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers across locations to decide what to build.
