Job summary

SevenRooms is seeking a backend-focused Software Engineer in London to build high-performance services powering reservations, guest management, and loyalty across markets. You will design, implement and operate backend features end-to-end, participate in on-call rotations, and help shape how DashOS products connect, with collaboration across product, design and other engineering teams.

You'll work in a hybrid setup with 3 days in the London office, contributing to scalable systems using Python

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building and operating backend services in production.
• Fluent in Python and comfortable learning new languages/tools as platform evolves.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy and improve backend services for features used by restaurants and their guests globally.
• Own features end-to-end from design through to launch and ongoing support, including on-call rotations.
• Work on hard problems in data, latency and scale: unifying guest identity across channels and real-time availability search.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers across London and other DashOS locations to decide what to build.
• Contribute to a modern engineering environment with frequent releases and AI-assisted coding practices.
