Job summary

SevenRooms, now part of DoorDash, is hiring a backend-focused Software Engineer to join DashOS in London. You’ll build high-performance, highly available services that power reservations, guest CRM, and omnichannel experiences for restaurants worldwide, with Python as the primary language and Rust for performance-critical components.

You’ll own features end to end, participate in rapid releases, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers across London and other DashOS

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Built and operated backend services or web applications in production with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms and system design.
• Fluent in at least one modern backend language (Python) and able to pick up new languages and tools.
• Keen to use AI coding tools and reviews in the development workflow.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy and improve backend services for customer-facing features used by restaurants and guests.
• Own features end to end, from design through to production and on-call rotation for reliability.
