Qualifications

• Significant experience building web-based applications at scale.
• Proficiency or willingness to learn languages like Go, Ruby, Python, Scala, or Rust.
• Practical experience with relational DBs (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL backends (Redis, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch).
• Ability to design and operate systems handling massive request volumes and complex workflows.
• Strong understanding of aligning multiple teams to solve complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical excellence across multiple teams with high-level reviews and guidance.
• Architect scalable solutions for high-traffic, complex business problems.
• Define and steer the long-term technical roadmap and delivery pace.
• Mentor engineers across levels and help develop next-gen leaders.
• Lead engineering interviews and contribute to recruiting strategy to maintain a high bar.
