Qualifications

• Experience building and operating scalable distributed Java applications.
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, product managers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Backend Development: build scalable Java-based backend services, APIs and microservices for fulfilment workflows.
• Feature Delivery: ship end-to-end stories with backend integration as needed.
• Technical Contribution: own medium-sized features and contribute to design and delivery.
• Collaboration: work closely with engineers, product managers and stakeholders.
• Code Quality: write clean, maintainable code and contribute to peer reviews.
• Support & Mentorship: onboard junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.
• Continuous Improvement: apply best practices and improve development processes.
