Intermedia is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design and build scalable services powering agent configuration, orchestration, and integrations. You will work with frontend, AI/ML, product, UX, and platform teams to deliver reliable, secure backend systems in a mainly remote setup with occasional visits to Bristol or London.

The role emphasizes building robust APIs, microservices, and scalable architectures, with a focus on observability, testing, and production readiness.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of professional software engineering experience building backend services.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages and frameworks.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and cloud platforms.
