Job summary

Methods is seeking Backend Developers to join a digital delivery team delivering secure, scalable backend services for UK public sector projects. You will design and develop APIs using TypeScript, with serverless AWS architectures and Lambda functions.

Collaboration across designers, product managers and QA in an agile setting is essential. You should have strong TypeScript skills, experience with AWS, and a passion for secure, resilient systems.

• Strong commercial experience building backend services and APIs.
• Expertise in TypeScript and serverless architectures.
• Experience with AWS services and AWS Lambda.
• Ability to design secure, scalable backend systems and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services and APIs using TypeScript.
• Architect and implement serverless solutions on AWS.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to automated tests, CI/CD, and production issue resolution.
