Job summary

Slim Chickens in Leeds is seeking a Back of House Supervisor to oversee all kitchen operations, mentor the team, and ensure consistent, high-quality dishes while maintaining food safety standards. You’ll manage inventory, coordinate with Front of House, handle issues promptly, and help with staff development in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment that values collaboration and great service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and ability to inspire and guide a kitchen team.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all back-of-house operations to ensure efficient and consistent food preparation.
• Leading, mentoring, and motivating the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Managing inventory, monitoring food stock, and ensuring timely ordering of supplies.
• Collaborating with the Front of House Supervisor to ensure seamless service.
• Handling kitchen-related issues and resolving them promptly to maintain smooth operations.
• Supporting staff training and development to uphold our brand’s high standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure
