Job summary

Intec Select is seeking a Backend Developer (Go / AWS) in London. You will design, develop and maintain backend services and APIs, primarily in Go, and own key components from design through deployment.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions, with AWS as the cloud backbone. The role includes mentoring junior engineers and contributing to engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years' professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with Go.
• Proven experience designing and building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Solid experience with AWS.
• Strong experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Strong engineering background delivering projects end‑to‑end.
• Experience with microservices architecture.

Overview

My client is going through an exciting stage of growth, investing heavily in modernising its platforms with scalable, cloud‑native architecture. They're looking for a Backend Developer to take ownership of key backend systems, working primarily in Go and AWS, and to help mentor junior engineers as the team grows.

London: 1–2 days/week on‑site

Role & Responsibilities
