Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' professional software development experience.
• Solid experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Backend-leaning full-stack with API development expertise.
• Experience building RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Understanding of SSR/SSG and database knowledge (SQL/NoSQL).
• Some cloud exposure (AWS) and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across the stack, focusing on backend logic and APIs.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to translate requirements into shipped features.

Junior Full Stack Developer (Next.js / React / Go / C#) - up to £70k, London

The Role

This is a full stack position with a backend lean - you'll be working across the stack in Next.js and React, but spending more time on the APIs, databases, and backend services that power everything behind the scenes.

You'll be:

• Building and maintaining features across the stack, with a focus on backend logic and APIs
• Working closely with senior engineers to turn requirements into shipped features
• Building and maintaining RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and backend services
• Helping keep applications performant, secure, and accessible
• Getting stuck into code reviews as part of a collaborative team

What You'll Bring

• 2-4 years' professional software development experience
• Solid experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript
• Comfortable across the full stack, with a backend leaning
• Experience building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Understanding of SSR/SSG
• SQL and/or NoSQL database experience
