Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years’ proven experience in internal sales, account management or a similar B2B role.
• Confident and engaging on the telephone.
• Combine excellent customer service with a strong commercial focus.
• Experience preparing and managing quotations.
• Organised and able to manage several enquiries at once.
• Owns customer requirements from initial enquiry through completion.
• Works well in a small, collaborative team.
• Comfortable using CRM, email and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound sales enquiries by telephone and email.
• Understand customers’ requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Prepare quotations and follow them through to order.
• Upsell and identify relevant complementary products.
• Develop repeat consumable sales from existing customers.
• Follow up on quotations, enquiries and opportunities.
• Support Area Sales Managers with pricing and follow-up.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with customers.
• Maintain accurate customer, quotation and sales data in CRM.
• Liaise with purchasing, accounts and warehouse teams to ensure service.
