Job Description:

Our client is an award-winning leader in infection prevention, clinical waste management, and surgical solutions to healthcare facilities across the globe. Due to their significant growth, they are looking for a Key Account Manager to strengthen the position of the business in the Irish Market and UK Long Term Care Accounts by supporting distributors through strategic initiatives and cross selling activities and day-to-day key account support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a national business plan for Ireland with focus on specific markets and product ranges by distributor to drive retention and growth aligned with B2B and VCI strategies.
  • Segment accounts to provide advanced key account management to strategic clients, involving senior leadership and stakeholders as needed.
  • Achieve sales and margin objectives.
  • Collaborate with B2B colleagues and marketing to identify and develop potential accounts, and communicate crossover opportunities.
  • Meet individual KPIs.
  • Build and manage relationships with key customers, professionals, and stakeholders to grow business with new and existing clients.
  • Utilize specialist product knowledge and skills to ensure effective selling and communication of key messages, providing solution-focused sales.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Uphold the company's core values consistently.
  • Work closely with Customer Services and UK Commercial teams for support.

Candidate criteria:

  • Experience in the Irish Healthcare Market is desirable.
  • Experience in B2B sales, key account management, or medical training within healthcare.
