Job summary

Insight Select Limited is seeking an Internal Sales Advisor to join a busy, customer-focused team in Colchester on a permanent basis. You will handle inbound calls and emails, build strong relationships with trade clients, advise on products and pricing, and prepare quotes as needed.

The role offers a £28,000–£32,000 base salary with a performance-related bonus, plus opportunities for career growth, staff discounts and other company benefits.

Qualifications

• Background in sales or customer support, ideally within a B2B environment.
• Clear and confident communicator with the ability to build rapport.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and collaborative team player.
• Comfortable using IT systems; experience with CRM platforms is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and email enquiries, ensuring a high standard of customer care.
• Develop and nurture effective working relationships with trade clients and business partners.
• Advise customers on products, pricing and availability, preparing quotes where required.
• Accurately manage orders and maintain customer account information.
• Assist field sales colleagues by identifying opportunities and carrying out follow-up activity.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records within the CRM system.
