Job summary

EMR | Specialist in Marketing Recruitment sits with a well-established UK manufacturer of specialist lighting solutions, now investing in marketing to accelerate growth. You will lead a small but growing marketing team and own the strategy, brand positioning, and digital presence to drive demand and revenue.

You will collaborate with Sales and senior leadership, manage external agencies and the budget, and develop messaging for consistent cross-channel positioning across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role within manufacturing or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience marketing to utilities or energy infra ecosystems.
• Strong track record in B2B marketing with lead generation and demand generation.
• Experience delivering short and long-term marketing strategies to support growth.
• Strong brand positioning and go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a small but growing marketing team.
• Own and deliver the short and long term marketing strategy.
• Develop and strengthen the company's brand positioning and market presence.
• Lead demand generation and align marketing activity with sales objectives.
• Develop and manage the company's digital marketing presence, including website, content, social media, SEO and relevant digital channels.
• Build effective campaigns that generate awareness, engagement and qualified opportunities.
• Use data and performance metrics to measure marketing effectiveness and continuously optimise activity.
• Work closely with Sales and senior leadership to understand market opportunities and commercial priorities.
• Manage external agencies and partners where required.
• Own the marketing budget and ensure investment is focused on activities that deliver the greatest commercial impact.
• Develop the company's messaging and content strategy to ensure consistent positioning across all channels.
