Job summary

Volantes Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer on behalf of a client in the UK. The role supports the Shift Supervisor and Chief Engineer, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and operational performance for Part-145 activities.

The LAE provides engineering guidance, assists with team development, and may travel to support maintenance operations, with responsibilities including base checks, daily flightline tasks, and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, quality & regulatory compliance across maintenance activities.
• Support Chief Engineer and Shift Supervisor in daily operations.
• Supervise safe aircraft maintenance on base and during flightline checks.
• Certify B2 maintenance activities performed during shifts.
• Assist with away-from-base tasks and on-call operations.
• Ensure proper aircraft documentation and TC/EMO compliance.
• Promote a Just Culture and continuous improvement within the team.
