Job summary

Volantes Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to assist the Shift Supervisor and support the Chief Engineer in ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and operational performance for Part-145 and A8-23 maintenance activities.

The LAE will help with engineering decisions, guide personal and team development, and contribute to on- and off-base maintenance tasks, while promoting a culture of safety and Just Culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safety first. Operate at this organisation in accordance with the SHE Technical standards. Apply safe systems of work identified.
• Maintain the overall performance of the aircraft maintenance operation and its personnel.
• Certification of all B2 maintenance activities performed during shift operations.
• Support aircraft away from home base when necessary, including daily flying or defect rectification on an ad-hoc basis.
• Ground movements of aircraft assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
• Ensure technical staff carry out duties in a safe and proper manner and in accordance with manuals and the Company Exposition.
• Ensure timely completion of all aircraft documentation relating to maintenance activities.
• Keep areas under supervision clean and tidy.
• Evaluate existing standards, practices, and procedures for continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Assist the Shift Supervisor in day-to-day functions and deputise in their absence.
